2011 Factory Navigation replacement to android radio?
I'm having some serious difficulty trying to figure out what to do with my radio situation.
I have a 2011 Platinum with the early Ford MySync navigation unit, which SUCKS. Originally I had planned on swapping it out for a large screen aftermarket android navigation unit, like one of these:

The problem is, I dont think that I can. I have a platinum, so the hvac controls and seat heater control and all that go through the factory nav. I wouldnt mind losing it to gain the android radio, but I dont think its as simple as swapping to that unit due to the wiring harness and modules that control those features.
So now I'm lost. I use waze and spotify daily in my other vehicles. So far the best idea I have is using the costal air lockpick to wirelessly mirror my phone screen to the unit... but that sucks because obviously the touch controls arent mirrored. and youd have to use your phone for EVERYTHING.

Anyone have ANY other solutions?

You can do it for less than half their price. I just converted to Sync3, with GPS and CarPlay/Android Auto and I have less than a grand into everything.

Why not? It's a full replacement of the system, I thought we had a thread about doing just that.

ive been looking for the same thing for my 2011 platinum with oem nav. the 13 and up has the redundant controls below the radio, so losing them on the screen is ok. but the 11 and 12s are all integrated in the screen and cant be changed. i still havent found a solution for mine. the non nav trucks can have an aftermarket system but the trucks 11-12 equipped with nav doesnt seem to have anything.
