I have a 2011 f150 5.0 I throw a code for bank one sensor a to much advance timing changed the vvt solenoid with a cloyes solenoid ran good for a day or two now throwing a code for over retarded timing ( when I bought the solenoid I bought a pair) so I changed it again but put one of the new solenoids on the intake and one on the exhaust now I’m throwing codes for intake and exhaust I have a feeling I got two bad vvt solenoids but part of me thinks I should replace the phasers I have 253k miles on the truck any idea what to do next before I put money in the phaser?
