Default 2011 EPS Question

Does the EPS work when the engine is off? I ask this because if I hold onto the steering wheel and turn the engine off the steering grabs and turns the wheel a short distance. But it's really hard to turn the wheels when the ignition is off. This is when I am in park or if I was just trying to roll the truck forward slightly.

If you are rolling faster than 15km/hr the power steering is still active.

Why are you shutting off the motor while you're rolling?

Not rolling. This is when I am parked. I guess I could have specified that. Fixed the original post.
