Default 2011 ecoboost rear tires

I have 7000 miles on my truck and the middle tread of the rear tires are worn out. alignment balance everything is perfect.
anyone else run intoi this after 7000 miles? Goodyear tires are what came on the truckfrom the dealer ship -

How much air pressure is in them? If they are overfilled, they can wear out down the middle. How hard are you driving it?

I would check the inflation. Normally center wear indicates over inflated tires.

when i brought it to the tire shop a few days ago it was at 30 psi. all around.
not driving hard at all. 40-50 miles a day in traffic

Well if you only have 7k on them, might be time to hit up the dealer and see what they have to say about it. Doesn't make any sense that even before you rotate them for the first time they are already wearing down that fast.

Sounds like your air pressure is too high!

High psi = center of tread wears faster.
Low psi = edges wear faster.

6,000 miles on mine, all tires still look new....even after a little burnout or 2!
