As a salesman I sit in my truck a lot with the door open and the key in because I make phone calls, listen to radio, etc..... I want to delete the chime. Just so you know, I searched and searched for how to for 2011 but only found other years.

Any how to's or ideas? Links, videos. I did see a 2010 but when it comes to modding wires I am looking for the same year.

You'll have to remove the gauge cluster, the speakers attached to the Rear of it! Others have put rags over it to muffle it, or cut the wire to disable it! Goodluck...

 

I find a round screwdiver/or 1/4 inch socket extension makes engaging the door latch an easy task ,that along with removing the blu/grey wire under dash (another thread on this site)a great mod.allowing doors to be open and listen to radio,dont forget to deactivate by puling door handle,or you can do damage trying to close while lock engaged
