My buddy recently won back a ton of money from the dealership because they couldn't fix the issue and gave him money for the full warranty deal. I guess they didn't want to lemon the car so paid him out $7k.

I got mine installed. I just made two aluminum straps that screwed into the factory screw holes/unuts location, and drilled those holes to allow the factory 7mm screws to hold them in place, then I drilled an 1/8th inch hole to give the factory screws a place to grab through.
Used the side pieces to the scosche kit for the 07-09 F150's with factory nav and it was perfect... I had to do some bending of the lip in the upper metal bracket but that was easy with a tiny crescent wrench... Fit's perfect
Where did you tap your reverse wire though? I tried the White/Green and Brown/Violet wires and all combination and can NOT get the camera to work?
My truck had the basic Sync system, but I replaced the stereo with a Pioneer AVH-2300NEx and the iDatalink Maestro kit to keep my steering wheel controls. It won't look the same as when you bought the truck but I like how mine looks now. I have bluetooth audio for phones and voice controls and Nav through Android Auto/Apple Carplay with the head unit.
I remove the USB port from the original location and put the USB cable from the head unit in it's place to keep it close to factory looking...
Nacho what all did you get to install the unit? What other items?
