2011+ 55-60mph 5.0 Shuddering and EcoBoost Engine Miss/Loss of Power - Possible Fixes

I agree it is not a gas issue! I use Shell from a high volume station. My issue also started around 2,500 miles. I have read a lot post in regards to this and most start before 4,000 miles. Although, I have read where some start right off the lot. The majority seem to start around the 3,000 mark.

Gas Gas
Posted this on the mpg thread as well.
OK, more than one variable here and generally just too soon but . . .
Today I drove 30 miles to get some "gas gas" ethanol free. My tank that I just emptied averaged 13.6mpg. I reset after the fill up and drove home fighting literally 40-50mph cross winds and then had quite a bit around town driving.
I just got home and my mpg so far on this tank is 18.4.
Now, the temperature today was 70, not 25. Variable number one.
Gas-Gas is variable number two.
That said, fighting wind that would literally have you in the ditch if you even thought about letting go of the wheel and quite a bit of town driving when I got back . . . bottom line is these would have been the type of mpgs I would have gotten last August thru October before it got cold.
It's getting cold again in 2 days so I will update how gas gas does later in the week in colder temps.
Point here is that I also had probably a 1/2 dozen places of slight uphill grade between 50 and 60mph and had NO shuddering.
Variable number 3? That 40-50mph cross wind no doubt had the engine working harder so not as "light throttle" as it has been in the past when I've had shudder.
But, how many have tried gas gas and verified that it does not help the shudder problem?
I will update later if it starts shuddering again.

Here my experience, during the winter I did an experiment whereI used regular gas (85 Ethanol), premium (93 ethanol), and gas gas (91 no ethanol). All were the same mpgs (12.5). All still had the shutter symptoms. Its not a gas thing. So to the service manager that said its because its the ethanol in the fuel, shove it.

The Ford engineer looked at my truck today. In his opinion, the shudder is related to the turbo. The service dept is ordering solinoids for the turbos that control the waste gate. This is NOT the waste gate solinoid. I have already had that replaced. This is something diffferent.the parts are supposed to be in on Friday.
