Been a Ford guy all my life but this one is the last one I'll ever own.
Well I guess that means I won't be buying the FX4 I have on order, even though it has the 5.0 . And that means no truck at all because I will never pay to put up with driving a POS dodge just because Ford is a POS too.

Amen to that, I had 2 of them ('01 & '06) and never again!!!! Gave my friends strick orders to kick me square in the nuts if I ever even mention buying another Dodge.

After this truck it's Japanese for me, a Titan or Tundra. Would rather have a Japanese vehicle than an American one that could be full of Chinese parts! Japanese don't much like Chinese and I doubt that their trucks would have any parts from China.

Hey, what ever happened to "Buy American?" The American car makers expect us to do it but, appearently they feel they are not held to the same standard!

I got my truck replaced with a 2012. It's been running great for over 7k miles. I considered having the brand new 2012 towed to the Ram dealer and trading it in. But, I kept it. Couldn't stomach buying a Ram and there was no way in he!! I was buying a GM product. Not all F150's are bad.

You'll want to contact a lawyer about the lemon process in your state. It's different from state to state. The more documentation you have on the issues and the dealers acknowledging the issues the better off you are.

I have had the exact same problems with mine. Just fed up and I feel the same exact way you do. I just wish I could afford to take the hit to trade for a Tundra. I will never buy another Ford, and will tell everybody that will listen about the problems I have had.

Sadly that's the route I think I am going to go. Buy a Dodge or a GM truck. Having had both in the past 6 years, they are significantly better than what Ford is producing now. Ford doesn't want to make me even the least bit satisfied, so I will do my part to make sure that that nobody has to go through what I did. I tell my story to everyone, and the neat part is, of the 6 new trucks that my co workers bought...not one Ford because of the issues I am having. I know my vindictive ways are childish and in no way will impact Ford, but it sure makes me feel good.

Lol. Anyway just got of the phone with my customer care rep she confirmed it is the cac building condensation. She stated the fix will be out by the end of this month and she confirmed it with the techs today. It will be a two part fix including a hardware fix which will be a mod to the cac and also another software update. Wondering what all the software update will do but it cant get any worse. She stated that I should hit the gas more to clear it, and I said thats when I almost got hit twice. Lets hope this fixes all our problems but i'm still going to get all my paperwork in order if it doesn't.

Good news, but if it isn't released by the end of the month...I don't even want to see whats gonna happen on this forum. Several people have been told this and posted it on here, if it doesn't happen sh*** gonna hit the fan. If they release it and it doesn't fix the issues, I don't know what will happen.

Is any one recording these conversations with their care reps? I would. Just tell them it's being recorded and all is legal. That way if it comes to lemon law court, they can't say there is no problem and that all is normal.
