So Saturday I took the truck on about a 150 mile round trip. Mostly highway, 65-75 MPH. So as I leave PHX i reset my mileage calculator, I kind of figured the mileage would go down. Before the supercharger i would get 13.5 in town and 15.8 on the Hwy. I reset it and as I get up to speed I see it go to around 18 MPG, i was pretty sure that was incorrect. As I continued to drive it just kept going up. I dont have a boost gauge so I cant say how many lbs of boost im making at 2K but take a look at the pics below. I just kept taking pics trying to document the gains.

For the record:
I didn't reset it at any point on the trip
My truck has 3.73 gears and 33.5s on 18x9s.

Sorry for the cell phone pics. Obviously I was driving.

Tpms. Check engine would be bad with a 550HP engine.

While cruising at any speed you should be seeing vacuum not boost.

Were you able to make any changes with the tuner like Tire Size, Speed Limiter, Shift Points and etc?

We are loving hearing about all the great power being made with these trucks!
Can't wait to see more of them!

Thanks everyone!

So only 418 hp and under 400 torque? That's kind of low, no? I would expect 500 for both at the wheels. Shoot a tunes Eco can compete with those results. That's why I am questioning the results. What am I missing?

It's too bad they didn't plot a 'before' dyno run on the same dyno chart for comparison. I'm sure there are significant gains but it's confusing when comparing engine hp vs wheel hp.

Also, unless I'm mistaken they're running the canned tune from Procharger. I'm sure some custom tuning would yield some better numbers.

Well, it looks like when I first install my kit it will be sans the Boss manifold. This way I can be absolutely sure the tuning is correct to begin with. The plus is that there will be zero down time after installing the ProCharger and later when I install the Boss manifold with proper tuning we can see what kind of gains can be had by adding the manifold on a supercharged truck.

We have found a pretty large variance in stock dyno numbers, actually one of the largest in memory. (Up to 40hp) Due to things like 4x4, Tire size, etc. However, even though the numbers have varied, the power gains with the blower have been pretty consistent. 55% with the HO kit (nearing the limit of the stock injectors) and up to 65% with the Stg 2 kit with our factory tuning.

We do spend a great deal of time on the tunes, to make sure that they are smooth and powerful. Yet, leave enough room for variance in fuel across the country... IE: 93 good stuff in some areas, and 91 junk in others. Obviously with custom tuning, on the specific fuel in your area will lead to the best results. However nobody should be disappointed with the factory tuning.

Sorry about that, we try to stick to the known variables with the stock cars/trucks. No tunes for modifications like headers/intakes/etc. However thankfully their are a LOT of remote tuners out there now days, that can easily handle tuning your truck via the internet.

Happy Boosting,
