Mine does the same thing and I have a Nokia C6-01. It will work great for about five starts, then nothing. For awhile I was saying that it was disconnected then the blutooth symbol would come on and it would work... weird. Anyway I too asked at the dealership and was told that "it just does that, you should resync to make it work again". Genius. I am hoping that the sync gen2 update will fix it, but I am not holding my breath.

BTW what were the sync tsb's for and what are the numbers?

Check out this thread about the first TSB for Sync seems as though lots of people are having good luck with it. https://www.f150forum.com/f38/sync-p.../?ref=esp-link When you call the dealership to make your appointment or when you go in make sure to tell them the TSB number cause half the time they wont bother looking to see if there is one.

I had the TSB done. I left a printed copy on the front seat when in for service. No issues since.

Mine was built [just] after the TSB 7/29 date, 8/17/2011, but I'll ask about it.
