Arrow 2010 Windshield question

At one time I read on here somewhere about a windshield that wasn't just "stock glass". I can't remember what it was called.

Can someone tell me what it was called, and how to tell if this model year even has it.

Thanx

I know that on some of the newer models they have that sound screen windshield. There are supposed not be so loud versus stock glass.

Yep, that sounds like what it was called.

I just looked and my wifes truck says "Laminated", on the bottom of the glass in the middle.

I wonder if ALL windshields now have that type of glass? Looks like to me it would be a benefit/safety feature. IDK.

I think they are all laminated together. That's how the put the 2 pieces of glass together. I don't know what exactly the sound screen has different then regular glass. I think it's more of a nice thing than a safety thing. But then again it's my opinion and I am no expert.
