Default 2010 STX question

I just bought a used STX. It is a regular cab. The sticker lists the following:

Preferred equipment package 503A
Sliding Rear Window
Trailer Tow Package
STX Decor Package
STX plus package
Power equipment group

However, it has a FMCo Carlite solid rear window. Anyone have any insight as why the slider would be listed but not installed? There is no evidence that the window was swapped after the fact.

Thanks

The defrost on the rear slider has a problem with overheating and shattering the glass. I would bet that the previous owner put in a solid rear window to save money.

Stx's do not come with rear defrost. Not in 2010 anyway

You can do a window sticker search yourself with your vin number. Here's the site I use I believe it to be accurate, it's in window sticker format. http://researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Numbe...cker/Ford.html

It was most likely replaced though.

Thanks. I thought maybe one of the packages somehow over rode the slider.
