Default 2010 stops on a dime now...

Only 25k on my 2010 and front rotors warped already... I ordered my 2010 new, with tow package and all the heavy duty stuff that comes with the package. I pull a 30 foot RV and only twice had to stand on the brakes to keep from hitting the rear of a car in sudden stopped traffic on I-75.

I didn't bother to have the rotors turned.. Why bother when it seems ALL American autos and trucks use the cheapest JUNK they can get at low bid.

I replaced the entire front brake system with a "Severe Service" package. Rotors were 1/3 heavier than the factory and matching pads in the package.

What a difference in the braking! No more sponge feeling!
It was well worth the $350.00.

Care to post a link to what package you purchased?

Advance Auto Parts... Just tell them you want better brakes then factory junk.
They did have to order them. Had them in one day..
As soon as I get a chance I'll hunt up my receipt and list the part numbers.
Keep in mind that mine were for a 2010 F-150 4X4 with 6 bolt wheels.. Ford used 6, 7 and 8 bolt in that year...

Update; Here is the info:
-
Rotor-Frontline 1 E 10471659
Advance part number; G09290SD
$114.99 each.
-
Pad-Frontline SD 1 10115856
Advance part number; FLD1414
$80.99 (both right and left wheel)

Guess I was a bit high on the cost with my first thread..
Cost was $310.97 plus tax.

Keep in mine that this is for a 2010 F-150 4X4. Yours may be a little different BUT this should put you on the correct screen of their computers.

They also come with a two (2) year warranty. I'm very happy with the results.

Good luck..
