Question 2010 Screw, 4x4 shift problem Maybe.

I have a 2010 Screw 4x with a procharger blower. When I mash the throttle to the floor the engine seems to be hitting the rev limiter before shifting at the first shift and occasionly the second shift. I called procharger and they said their program did not change transmission shift points when the blower programming is installed.

I called my closest dealer and the service manager told me the TCM sensed trouble since the pedal was floored and let the engine rev to the limiter. Truck has 80,000 miles on it so the service manager said the transmision should not need service till 150,000 miles. I am sceptical of that sensing trouble opinion but I want opinions from some forum members.

Thanks for reaching out about this, John924. What's the current mileage on your truck? I'll research all available options.

Thanks for replying Brittany,

My 2010 F150 currently has just under 83,000 miles on it. I bought it used with 70,000 plus miles on it November 2013.
