Default 2010 Not Starting??

120K, 5.4...A month ago I had it towed because it wouldn't start,,,Turned over good but appeared to just not be getting gas??...Got to my mechanic and he said it started right up but he suggested replacing some relay under the dash(?) I believe....OK, fine until tonight...Same symptom, turn over, no start...Into trying it a few times I ran it through the gears to 'just see'....Nothing in Park...Put in Neutral and it started right up...Got home and tried it and started fine....What gives???

Pull fuse 27 up front, see what the socket looks like underneath.

Like said above, make sure you pull out F27 under the hood and look for burns/melt sign on the fuse and down in the socket. Even change the fuse.

What about checking the fuel pump module above the spare tire?

Have you checked fuse 27 under the hood? Check the socket as well

OK, question....This am was the first since Tue(3 days) that I need the truck, so...Checked the oil before starting and needed 'some'...,Was little low and figured I'd stop and get some...Stopped along the way at a place and truck wouldn't start in Park/Neutral or Remote...BUT, when trying it, the oil indicator came on...Tried it just before adding oil and no go...Added oil and first crank, BINGO!!!!...Is there a sensor that detects low oil and THAT may be why??...I check it, but not every day...This is the first in 2/3 months that it said I needed oil...I have gens/compressors that won't start if low...

There is a sensor, but it shouldn't block starting.

Well, maybe it SHOULD, that might be a good idea. But, I don't believe the computer factors it in.
