I immediately see a need for two things as a result of this thread:

1. For me to investigate and monitor my 2010 for this foam lining issue .

2. With multiple same incidents, Ford should have a bulletin out for this problem.

Glad that it helped. And glad you didn't have to waste any more time at the dealer. Still can't believe they put foam in there to try to quiet it down.

Yes! This was a great post, very valuable information and also clearly shows how important these forums are!

Just picked up my Platinum last week and you know I'll be looking in the intake this weekend for loose foam.
