Default 2010 Lariat - couple of issues...

Bought my 2010 new at the end of June (2010), its a Screw lariat 4x4.
Going in tomorrow for oil change #2 and having the dealer look at some things.
Thought i'd post some of these to see if anyone else is having them:

1) I've got the leather seat issue... been discussed extensively in another post. Im curious to see what the dealer says about this.

2) I've got the sloped driveway "problem" too - will have the TSB done tomorrow and will post the results.

3) I seem to have a coolant leak - or maybe a few? After a recent snowstorm, my son noticed a few bright green spots under the truck (on a few inches of snow). The dealer didn't seem surprised by this?

4) The truck has a distinct burning smell after driving up to the ski area. Not an overly taxing drive, but it smells a lot like burnt clutch. The dealer thought this might be related to the coolant leak.

5) My tailgate has developed a snap (or loud click?) when opening. It happens about 1/3 of the way down and is very repeatable. Sounds like the end of a spring snapping by a stop, or something like that.

6) I probably have the cam phaser noise - it sounds slightly like a diesel while idling in the driving. Not sure i'll bring this up as it doesn't really bother me and I don't notice it while driving. Is this something to be worried about or just the nature of this engine?

Guess that's it... maybe more of a rant. I'll understand if no one replies!

ive had the burning smell when using 4x4 high, thought it could be the tranny clutch also, or possibly the stupid TCS hitting the brakes excessively fighting the 4x4. It goes away when I use 4x4 low instead.

Have experience the "sloped driveway" problem but mine corrects itself in less than 5 minutes so I dont see it as an issue.

My tailgate started doing the same thing once it got cold outside, but others have said that lubing the hinges fixes the problem.

Never seen any spots on the ground and I dont have any problems with my leather seat, I have 12,000 miles on my truck.

Let me know what they have to say about that burning smell.

some people say the foam underneath collapses and the leather looks loose, or they pick up color off of your pants if you have the light colored ones.

will affect your gas gauge reading parking on a slope. One guy was on here complaining about it taking all day for it to reset to the correct level, mine resets in like 2 minutes though.

LMAO I thought this issue was a GM problem !!!! I have a 2007 Montana that does this to such a degree that we dont let it go below 1/4 tank..

I have only had my Lariat for a week but have not noticed it yet ?

i commute only 15 min. to work. so not sure. it is parked in my garage then on flat surface. sometime it is normal by then sometimes not. i usually park on an incline at work and that is when i notice it. i come to work with 1/4 tank and leave with half. thought i finally got ahead of these oil guys. guess not.
