Default 2010 keyless entry

I have a 2010 and it currently does not have a key pad on the out side for the keyless entry is this something I could add to the truck

If I was to buy a used one from a salvage yard would that work also how would I get the code to work would I have to take it to a dealer

The code for these is located under the passenger side of the dash on the backside of the fuse box. You need to unmount the whole box and the code is under it. The exact process is available via google

Looking at Amazon for it as suggested, it’s simply a stick on remote you set up like a key fob remote. Check the reviews.

I thought it had had to be wired.
