Default 2010 ford paint

Hello guys,
I just purchased a 2010 ford f150 this previous weekend and it has a couple bubbles in the paint on the cab corners. I'm looking on what you guys suggest and where I can't get ford matching spray paint, or paint pens for the p
aint . Also is there a good brand of spray paint for repainting my trailer hitch and a few things under the truck itself that has surface rust.

The bubbles on the cab corners are from rust that formed on the backside and has worked its way through the metal.

The only real fix is to cut out the cab corners and weld in new metal.

Sure you could spray paint it, but that won't stop it and it'll just keep getting worse until you have large holes.

Sorry to bring the bad news. Nice truck though.

To me it honestly looks like it was surface rust and they just painted over the rust to cover it up and I think it's bubbling up under the paint they did. I'm looking to sand it down and just repaint the corners. Until they get bad I don't think the metal is to messed l up just yet. Do you know where I can get color matching spray paint?

Duplicolor makes one. You can find it at your parts store.

Automotivetouchup has it. I almost bought their paint last week for my roof but decided to let the pros handle it.

I'm curious to see what people recommend for your hitch. I need to paint mine too.

Unfortunately he's probably right. This is why I've never purchased a crew cab. Ford started having the cab corner problems back in 2004 I believe. You could try and paint over it but I would suggest checking to see if the areas are weak, If you feel like you could poke through the metal you have bigger problems. If not, touch up paint will do.

Por 15 for the hitch. Expensive but worth it. Designed to go over rusty metal

I used Automotivetouchup.com and the match was perfect.

Cab corners rarely rust from the outside...

I've seen quite a few 09's and 10's with rotted out cab corners.

Rarely, if ever at all. I'm willing to bet money his are rusting from the inside out. Touch up paint might buy him a month or so before the rust shows through.

04-14 screw cabs are notorious for this.
