Default 2010 F150 Passenger Mirror Replacement / Cost?

So a courier decided to take out my passenger side review mirror on my 2010 F150 this morning.

It is on the XLT, manual folding with the signal lighting on the lower part of the mirror. The front face has the reflective orange insert. This aren't the extendable tow mirrors.

The top of the mirror has a cap that basically blew apart, everything else is working just fine. No damage.

Can a guy buy just that top cap? Or am I stuck buying a whole new mirror?

I'm located in Calgary Alberta.

Any advice is appreciated.

I believe you can buy just the cap.. Might even be able to get some that are painted to match your truck if you are into that. Not 100 percent sure so i'll let others chime in...

Thanks I'll look into that. I was not to thrilled with that courier today. Guy didn't even stop.

You can buy just the mirror caps. You can find them on tascaparts.com or ebay. You can find black, PTM, and chrome caps. No need to buy a new mirror if the cap is the only thing broken.

You can buy just the cap BUT if the ring around the cap is broken you need a new mirror. Oriental will-fit is only about $350. but is an excellent piece (don't ask me how I know...).

If nothing else on the mirror is broken, you can just order the cap and it should just snap in place.

My truck was side swiped on the driver's side while parked a few months ago and I bought a set of mirrors here. I just put the passenger side on ebay last night.

Ford part #17D742 $33.37 (chrome is $33.95)
