has anyone done a custom dash/interior on their 09+? ive been wanting to PTM my dash parts like the ones in this pic and was wondering if anyone had any idea on what kinda prep or bondo is needed?? ive already got the truck leather covers in mind so really just need help with the dash thanks.

I just did the pieces beside the radio

I just hit the pieces with a red scuff pad then used a plastic specific primer to help with adhesion.

ahhh those are sick bro! lol my trucks ingot silver and those already are silver lol, was thinking blue tho too, since i have blue footwell lights and doing calipers blue too

I did this in my old truck. I prepped right, proper paint, etc..After a few months I wished to hell i didn't ..Starts to look like crap a lot quicker, especially when it's not a show truck, but a dd. Anyway, I love how it looks, this is just my experience! fwiw.

I really want to do mine metallic black but not really wanting to spray paint them I want to see how much it would be to do it

I do need to pull them back off and wet sand them and buff and polish to get the shine like that photo.

I had to put em back in before I got a chance to get that done. I would of just left em out, but my ol lady didn't like the idea of riding with me while the airbag wasn't fully mounted.

hmm im talkin to my painter who did my front end, he does sho cars so he might be able to do it, should i do blue, or factory ingot silver like my truck???

I would think a body shop could do em under $100 if you do the uninstall/reinstall, but I could be wrong. That's just my guess based on some things I've seen done before.
