Default 2010 check brake system -_-

Ok i searched and searched. I have a 2010 f150 4.6 4x4.

Extended warranty does not cover ABS systems. 65 thousand miles.

Dash reads Check Brake system and it flashes alot. No check engine light.

I removed the two rear abs sensors and cleaned them. They seem fine. I hav yet to remove the front ones. Can anyone tell me how to remove the rotor? Hammer?

The last time I changed my front driver shaft I noticed the speed ring sensor. Is that from abs too? I cant find a replacement online.

Finally... does autozone have the ability to pull abs codes? I called and some airhead lady said no.

On a side note. I off road alot in the sand dunes. After I replaced the shaft the break light did not come on. This was about a month later and at least 8 off roading sessions later.

Not sure on removing the front rotors. The last one I did was a mid-80s and in required a special tool (looked like a large socket with 2 tabs)
Regarding the Ford extended warranty though, a quick look at the Ford website shows that ABS is covered if you bought the Extracare ESP. Not covered on the Basecare or Powertrain only warranty. Which one do you have?

Autozone should be able to pull codes for you.

I purchased used at a chevy dealer -_- ....

It has 3 coverage options, Powertrain coverage is free I got it when it had 49513 miles and coverage for up to 85513 miles. It also has a "Base coverage" thats included. Brakes are covered but it reads "all lines and fittings, backing plates, calipers and wheel cylinders, clips and retainers, convination valve, master cylinder, parking brake linkage and cables. power booster, self adjusters and springs.

The third coverage "high tech coverage" which I DID NOT get .. that one states ABS in there.

Ill try autozone again. How do I get them to check? with a regular check engine tool that they use? Ive seen them use an orange one.
