hey guys quick question i own a 2010 5.4 with 6 speed tranny....i have20x10 installed on 35x12.5 nitto trail grapps.

the problem is when in 2 wheel drive i get a rattling like sound what sounds 2 be around front of truck below center console. this sound has gotten progressively worse and has went from intermittent to almost always. this sound immediately stops when shifted into 4 HI.........speed of truck doesnt matter although it seems very loud at high speeds.

Any Ideas or similar problems??

 

Bad iwe do search and you will get kinds of info on it.

Sounds like that may be your problem stated above
( the IWE
solenoid or any vacuum hose leading to IWE on either front wheel leaking) - what can happen if a vacuum leak starts to diminish the suction applied to the IWEs internal spring (that push the front hubs to engage ) the front
halfshafts will start to engage making a nasty noise . Another OP has this similar problem - check his post
