I am looking to buy one of the last 2009 f 150 now the problem I have is this Its a 4.6 3v with 3.73 so ford says I can pull a 9400lbs but Ford towing guide says if my trailer weights over 5000lbs my warranty may be voided if I dont have the Max tow pkg and you guessed it this truck does not have the max tow pkg

I don't know what to tell you about the warranty issue, I think some one at the dealer ship is full of $h1t !!! I have the 4.6L 3V with the 3:73 and was told nothing about my trailer not being allowed to weigh more than 5000lbs. I can tell you that I am very happy with the way this truck runs and tows. I went from an F-250 diesel to this truck and I don't miss the ole' diesel at all.

I have a 4.6 3V and the 3.55 gear with the Tow package and tow a 7,000lb. travel trailer with no problems.
