Default 2009 Sync LCD Issues

I am recently having issues with my Sync system in my 2009 F150 Platinum. The LCD screen seems to be going out. I am assuming it's the LCD, as it has gone "white". It does on occasion show up, but also shows with lines in it. Has anyone else had this problem? And is it the LCD screen or could it be a bad cable? I've attached photos of the screen showing a "scrambled" image.

Any help would be appreciated.

The million dollar typical question. Did you disconnect the battery for 15 minutes?
No modifications, right?

No modifications, and no, I did not disconnect the battery. I am concerned that if I disconnect the battery, I am committing to "no more speaker phone" (as my phone is sync'd). Do you think it's worth a try? Also, I am attaching another shot (top photo) of the screen in its full "white out". This is how it typically looks these days.

Update: at lunch today, the screen came on fine (second photo). After stopping and restarting engine to head back to work... "white screen" again.

Well it definitely is worth disconnecting the battery to rule it out.
Shouldn't be too hard to get your phone back up and running, if it even removes it.

An all white screen tho, makes me want to lean towards something is starting to go.
I know there is an extended warranty on my 14!s Sync module. Sorry, I don't know how far back they went, with the Sync warranty.
