Default 2009 Satellite Antenna Leak

My cousin has the Satellite antenna leak in his 2009 f150. Took it to ford and they said its not covered under the 60k warranty so I told him I would help him fix it. I have no idea how to pull the antenna off so if someone could please help me I would greatly appreciate it. I know the tsb is the pull the antenna off and put some silicon on it but I can't figure out how to get it off.

Gonna probably have to drop the passenger side of the headliner! Yikes, or the redneck way and just silicone it from the outside, ha ha...

Pull the headliner. Dope it up. Good to go. Fix the headliner that got stained while you're at it

How do we pull the headliner and he said that there was a stain on it. How do we fix that?

X2. I'd love to know how to pull the whole headliner! I've searched and Some have said that it goes in before the glass and that the glass needed to be removed in order to pull it without creasing it up? Unless you have a supercab, and in that case I assume that it will fit out the side with both doors open.

It's pretty simple to pull the moulding and fixture to get the liner out. Getting it of a crew is tough supercab is not bad.

3m headliner adhesive and new fabric it'll look good as new. Foam backed fabric is much easier to work with

His truck is a super crew, I thought you could just drop a corner of the linear to get to the antenna but I don't even know how to do this. Also is there anyway to lighten the stain on the linear?

Is this stuff any good? I would prefer to use this instead of taking the antenna off.

You could just use regular caulking. I've done it before to seal up a hole
