I’m going to install 1. Inch front strut spacer.
I went with this instead of 2 inch maybe a little less stress on components but still levels it out a bit
Anyhow my question is I see some how to show using a vacuum to dis engage half axle shaft. But I think they do it because they take whole assemble off.

if I am just going to pry do I need to do the vacuum step or can I just loosen axle nut and force new strut and space in place!

 

there are a lot of videos on youtube about changing the ball joints, you can most likely find the answer you are after there.
