Default 2009 Engine replacement

Hello I tried to search but didn't find much.
My dad's 2009 4.6 engine (3V I believe) gave out and needs to be replaced. I suggested a coyote swap but now realize this is harder than I thought. Do you guys have any suggestions on what engine to replace with? I was thinking a 5.4L engine since it was from 2009 too. We would prefer to have something a little more powerful since it has oversized wheels and felt sluggish with the current motor.

Simplest solution is to replace with a 4.6L. Lose the bigger wheels and go back to stock = instant gain of power on the butt dyno.

+1 Especially if it's the 4.6L 3V
