Default 20 inch tire question

I currently have the pirrelli scorpion 275 55 20 on my truck. I am thinking of replacing them with 275 60 20. Would they fit without rubbing? Has any one done this already? Also, are Cooper tires any good? thanks

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. I've got to get new tires and ca/n/t stand the scorpions. I'm looking at the Goodyear DuraTracs. Looking at 285/60/20. Let me know what you decide to do if you can.

According to the chart they will fit fine. That's what I think I'll replace mine with, either the BFG Rugged terrains or Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo2.

I don't need a 10 ply tire, makes gas mileage suck because of the weight.

I have 275/65/20s on my 2012 FX4. No lift or level. Only time they rub is if I hit a significant bump with the wheels cranked all the way one way or the other.

I just put 275/60-20 Goodyear Wrangler Adventure AT. Very happy with the tire and size. No rubs and the speedo is dead on now. The thing I'm not sure about with these tires is if they havee thrown off my MPG. I used to be able to get around 18ish empty on the highway. Just took a trip last weekend and the best I got was 16.5ish. It may just be the fact the speedo is reading true, not sure. Could also be the winter blend of the gas.

I say go with the 60 series tires. Works well and looks good filling out the wheel well just that little bit more.

I put 275/60/20 Bridgestone dueler revo 2 on my 09 platinum. No running and a good looking tire. I wanted something with white letters and good reviews in all weather.

I just put some 275/60r20 BFG Rugged Terrains on mine. Everything is stock no lift or anything. Not one bit of rubbing that I've seen or heard. Would recommend these tires. Great ride and good traction wet or dry. Haven't had then off road much yet but I'd say they will do just fine. Worlds better than the scorpions. Also they are light...only a pound heavier than the stock scorpions. Once you calculate and adjust for the revs/mile difference I haven't lost any mpg that I can tell.

Speedo reading true? I've always thought my f150 are a bit slow compared to what the police radar signs show... You think stock might be a bit slow also?
