2" lift vs 2" level
I know a front level usually puts additional stresses on the geometry of the suspension however slight that may be.
What about a lift?
I know nothing about the differences but I'm sure there are some pros and cons to either.
Any thoughts?

I don't think they make a 2" lift kit, body lift maybe. A true lift kit will relocate suspension and 4wd components to maintain oem geometry. The lift I have is 4" up front and 2" in back for a level effect.
The con is it's more expensive than a level only.

Exactly.
For only 2", I really don't think it would be financially feasible for any lift manufacturer to produce because of the cost for all the drop down brackets and new redesigned knuckles for such a small amount of lift.
The upper strut "spacers" and new "coil overs" would prevail and works very well for those type of size lift/leveling results.
Don't forget, F150lifts.com (also a great vendor on here) makes a 1" body lift too, among various coil over kits.
