Default 2 bolt corner tie downs

I have a 2011 XLT that has a bed liner fitted to it.

I'd like to install the corner tie down brackets at the cab end of the bed and I had sort of assumed that there would be markings of some sort on the bed liner as to where to drill through.

It's the two bolt style factory ones yet in the area that I think they should mount there is just a single dimple.

Am I missing something or do I need to remove the bed liner to sort out the correct location? I don't think I'd be able to get a drill through the holes in the bed from the reverse side to drill through the liner from there due to lack of space.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

On my 14 with what I think is the OEM plastic liner there are holes drilled and the tie down tabs protrude through partially. Holes are probably 3inch. This will be your best bet as the liner isn't tight against the steel of the bed. I'm guessing 1 to 1/14 inch gap so bolting through it won't work very well. If it matters I can get some measurements or pics of placement tomorrow. Jim
