Default 2.5” RC Leveling Kit issue

Hey guys, I have an 09 FX4 with the 2.5” RC kit. It’s been on a couple years now. It’s been pretty great for the most part. Smooth on the roads and at speeds on the highways. But if I take a sharp, or off camber turn or the turn has a bump in it, (mostly left turns), I get a weird scrubbing sound, the TCS symbol comes on and it cuts power. It doesn’t happen on all turns. Just some turns and usually when I’m carrying some speed into it. I had the truck aligned, it seemed to help some but still happens on occasion. Anybody have any insight on this?

If RSC/TSC/ESC symbol is flashing when accelerating in a corner, then the AdvanceTrac system need to be disabled every startup - holding the button for several seconds until it flashes. Otherwise frequent ABS modulation will occur again when cornering under specific conditions. It's a common workaround for those with leveling kits in general. It can still happen though even if the system is disabled, but it will have be under extreme met parameters for it to engage when cornering again.

I have it with my lift kit and that's the only way I can drive normally without it interfering when driving spiritedly at times.

The reason this happens is the AdvanceTrac system thinks you're going into a roll (RSC - roll stability control) based on the elevated angles the leveling kit creates when the yawing, pitching and rolling sensors are reading beyond Ford's spec; bigger wheels can also cause this too.
