So I've got a 09 xlt 5.4 163". I've been lurking on here for a little while now. I feel like I'm one of very few who drive a 163"wb. I absolutely love my truck even though it was a company truck before I got it and I have to put a small fortune into it to get it up to where I trust it on long trips. Thankfully I can do most of the work myself.

Ever since first truck a 1990 Dodge ram extended cab long box 5.2L 2wd. I always want something newer and basically the same but 4x4.

I'll look into how to uploading pictures tomorrow. Just curious if there is anyone else running these long beasts on here?

 

What body configuration is 163"?

 

You don't see many of those. I don't know why because the 8 foot bed is very useful for a work truck and the extended cab is too. Its nice to have a place for the occasional 3rd passenger, travel bags, dog etc. There are times I wish my 150 Scab had an 8 foot bed.
