14 xlt 4x4 screw brakes
Ok I'm a lucky f150 owner whom experience the front rotor warp. Only have 34k miles. I only tow a 18ft trailer with 2 4 wheeler on it maybe 6 times a year. After they turned the rotors on front. The pass side it looks like you can still see the rub marks that the pads made. Before turned. I could feel the grooves in the rotor. All others were smooth. The rotor on pass side is smooth but like stated it looks like you can still see the heat marks on rotor. Is this ok? I know in the near future I'll be replacing the rotor for aftermarket. Since I'm still under bumper to bumper warranty. Should they have replaced front pads as well. On paper work. Only shows they turned front rotors.

Its up to your Dealer, as to what gets fixed! Just grab some Aftermarket, as the oems are Horribler.

What they've done is a bandaid. I wouldn't expect anymore from them really. As long as the surface is true, is what your after. It would have been nice to get any glazing, groves removed with a new set of pads, but they're likley not to go the full mile. Without DIY, results tend to vary.
The issues you experienced will likely come back. Many owners here on the board have reported rotors being turned, same issue comes back, time and time again. Sooner that you get rid of the OEM stuff the better.

wait. what?
your bumper to bumper doesn't cover brakes because they're a normal wear item. but if they were warped, they shouldn't have been turned to begin with. and the pads should have been replaced as well but hopefully they at least scuffed them.

I have an '11 Lariat Supercrew 4x4. I'm at about 63,000 miles on her. It would be a good idea to just replace front/back with a quality aftermarket set up. I went with www.brakeperformance.com. I have a Polaris Ranger 800HD that I tow to and from my place in West Virginia. I live in Delaware so it's about a 265 mile trip one way. I tow the Ranger in a 14x7 enclosed V-nose trailer. Weight is about 3,600lbs. I guess. I tow about 6-8 times a year. I started to get a vibration when I hit the brakes at around 36,000 miles. The front rotors were replaced but the original pads stayed. Then about a year later I had the rear rotors turned and pads replaced. Then sometime after that I got the vibration back again. The Dealer tried to sell me a brake job. I said no thanks, I'll do it myself. So around Feb. I bought a complete front/back brake kit with slotted and dimpled rotors with semi-metallic pads. Kit was about $426.00 bucks, and it cost me about $150.00 to have a shop do the install.
