I live in the Middle East and went to the dealer and he said no he couldn't. I spoke to the Phillipino tech and he showed me the print out from the machine. He had never done it before and he managed to do it. So if he can do it they all can do it.

My dad went to the dealer for my truck had a nail in my tire. And I asked him please tell them to turn on drl. And they said they can't only Chevy cars have them does anybody know how to turn it on

Went to my local dealer today in North Carolina and had my buddy who is a service tech activate the DRL on my 2013 FX4 with hids. They look sick and it took all of 5 minutes. I have a bully dog programmer and I had to uninstall that prior to him accessing the vehicles computer. Attached is a photo I took, sorry for it being sideways.

Hooked up the laptop and connected it to the port under my dash...leave truck in run position, let laptop connect to truck then go into the options on the laptop under exterior. There is a DRL tab and enable it. It will flash the computer then you are all set. The DRL come on when taken out of park and are bright amber like the newer toyotas on the road. They can also turn on police mode which is where all the interior and exterior courtesy lights are turned off.

Yeah, my buddy hooked me up but said they would probably charge anywhere from 45$ to 75$ to do this but every dealer is different. Find a service tech that doesn't look like a dick and see if they can hook you up. From what I have read don't ask an advisor or manager.

That does look sick with just the amber lights on!
