Ok I agree with almost everything he just said, I hate my 14 compared to my 12 and I don't know why, I haven't really been to the shop for anything but I feel like my truck has no "get up and go" compared to the 12. My buddy bought a 15 with the sport package and I never liked the 15's till I saw his. Really nice, and I still see 15's on the road that I feel look hideous.

Now Ian, back to what you just said about full warranty... Just because a truck has full warranty doesn't make it a better truck as you are my number 1 example of that.

OP personally I would go with the 13, as I feel that was more the end of the model year, the 14 like Ian mentioned is a bastard child of the 13 and the 15
Haha, love you to man. I just stick around to help others, and slag that '14 whenever I get the chance. Figure I've owned enough of the buggers I can help with some of the common issues. Besides, I'm bored...the Titan just works..nothing exciting. Even works great off road...miss that ecoboost power band a bit though.

The ugly looking bug guard on the '13 would be a deal breaker for me.

Without going and checking the trucks out the 13 could definitely happen for me price wise. The 14 would be a stretch, but then again depends on how much they want to get rid of a used truck. The options on the 14 are just everything I'd ever want in a truck and then some

I bought a 2010 FX4. I wasn't fully decked out. I loved the truck, but was never totally happy with it. So in 2013, I "ordered" one. Got the color I wanted and "all" the options I wanted. I am still loving my truck...no wanting whatsoever to get a 15+.

I guess what I am trying to say is, if you are happy with the options on the 2013, then buy it. But if you really want an optioned out truck, then the 2014 may be a better choice. As far as issues go, every year has issues and sometimes its just the luck of the draw. I have been very fortunate, my F150 purchased to date have been great. Sure I have had a few issues, but overall, I am a satisfied Ford customer.

I think you will be happy either way. Good luck with your choice.

BTW...... The Ruby Red is a nicer color.... But silver hides dirt better. I have had both colors. Loved then both.

You're looking at the same dealership I looked at a few months ago lol.

I actually traded my 2010 5.4 F150 in at WolzWind Ford ( same owner ) for a loaded 13 FX4 with App Package only thing it doesn't have is the ambient lighting.

21k miles on it when I bought it. They did not budge much at all on the price of $39k when I got it. I got $700 off and they gave me a better deal on the extended warranty.

I think now with the deals and specials on the 15's maybe they will budge a bit more. But check out both dealerships. I know woltzandwind had several appearance package f150's left.

Sticker was $53k for it originally. I looked at the 15's but the prices for those to get the same features you're looking at paying that same 50k price range and they didn't have any deals 4 months ago on the 15's.

Yeah I've been checking every where haha. I came across these I think because I narrowed my search to trucks with less than 15k miles. I won't buy anything that has over that. These are perfect because they are under 10k.

I really like the red of the 13. I think the Ruby red and black is a sharp combo. The silver definitely isn't bad either. Only way I can get the 14 is if they budge alot on price, or give me more for my trade in than I anticipate. I need to hit the lottery!

I prefer the 2013 hockey sticks compared to the 2014 model. I like my 2013 with the appearance package. I would also much prefer the ruby red over silver.

but also weird the 2013 don't have the HID's? I also prefer the 2014 appearance package grill over the 2013 model.

My brothers 14 fx4 seem good. Is still new but.. Back and forth to Colorado a couple times, Cali and a couple trips to the dunes. Only oil changes so far.
Suspension does seem a tiny softer than my 12 xlt

Hey fish. Post a pic of the Titan in your other thread.
