Default 1 year old and 43000 miles in the books

My truck lives a hard life on the road and off and has not had one problem! I put allot of highway miles on but she also sees allot of off road time once I get where I am going. My only complaint is the windshield is like a magnet for rocks She just got another chip this morning.

Just braggin on her, no real point here LOL

Nice, hope it keeps providing trouble free enjoyment.

My 2011 is two years old this month and has 31k on the clock. It sees little off-road being 2wd, but it is used daily as a work truck, lots of stop/starts, hauling heavy loads. I drive it hard and put it away wet every day.

Since it was new I've had to fix these few items.

- Slip yoke bump, fixed with new driveshaft.
-HVAC can speed dial quit working, new fan speed resistor.
-Had a leaking pass front shock/ strut replaced.
- Door speakers are crackling, still investigating .
- Electric Power Steering rack is making noise .

Otherwise it's been a good truck.

2011 w/ just over 30k.

blend door replaced, leaf bushings replaced, tail light and grille replaced, all warranty. seems to be down on coolant (something ive not experienced before other than my old chevy with Castech [or whatever] heads with cracks in em) and eats some oil

other than that, trouble free. nothing that has stopped it from rollin. got it buried in mud (a year later, clay was still coming out of my frame), sierra nevada pinstripes, and busted my rear passenger side of the cab on a bear box at 9,30PM in sequoia natl forest (couldnt see worth a damn, and had a big rock on driver front i was trying to avoid), thin sheet metal but lovin it every day

On a vehicle that is 2 years maybe a tad more you should have little to no probems. I sold my 2005 pathfinder tons of offroad and on and with 160000miles not an issue. have had nissans since 1987 not a single one with an issue except a simple recall on my 2005 for a wire harness. Ford needs to step up to that level.

I'm of this same mindset. Congrats on your truck and not having any issues but I see these type of threads a lot. I always think to myself, "And...?". I just know too many old(er) trucks with super high mileage that have been worked day in and day out without problems. I would hope my $50k+ F150 could do AT LEAST 100-150,000 miles with absolutely no problems. My Dodges have done that and more.

You make me feel better about long-term reliability. I just hit 1 Year...but I have a short commute to work and another vehicle that I rotate....I just hit 5,400 miles yesterday. NO issues. Plenty of power. My primary use is weekend warrior DIY. I must of now, YTD, hauled 5-6 payloads of topsoil w/o any issues. Love the truck...

155,000 miles on my '09 FX4, still runs like a champ, fixed an A/C leak once, other than that it's never needed repairs. Do I go offroad? Yep, all the time, I work on a drilling rig and drive torn up dirt roads all the time!

Once you rack up some real miles, then you can brag.

I don't feel as bad now that I see some one has more miles than me on their year old truck. My truck is will be 1 year on Nov 27 and I have over 23K miles. And I thought that was bad...ha ha ha. I have not had any problems at all and I am thankful for that too. So far I have 1 really small door ding on the passenger side front door.
Yeah you do a lot of driving.

I agree,

My last 150 ('04 fx4) was a complete pile. I got rid of it with about 37k on the ticker. I got sick of making the payment to drive a crappy rental all the time. I swore off Ford for good.

Now here I sit, waiting on delivery of a '14 fx4. I sure hope i have a better experience this time around.......I really hope im not an idiot for ordering another ford. Sometimes after reading all the troubles people have on here it seems im am an idiot
