Westbayou, what kind of difference are you seeing in fuel mileage with the 33.5" tires compared to stock?

Looks good, I've been debating on whether to get the 2" kit, but after seeing the 1" I may go that route if I can ever find an install shop to do it!
2 local Ford Service Managers said "No it will void your warranty" Firestone and Goodyear said "No we won't install parts we don't purchase"

OP....how much lift did you end up getting out of this kit? did you take measurements before or just after?? Really thinking about going with this kit as I also prefer a slight rake....do you have any pictures of your truck directly from the side??

Thanks

might be a dumb question but did the level kit mess up the offroad sensors? as far as displaying on the gauge screen under truck app.

No it did not. I have the daystar 1" kit and my offroad sensors are still accurate. Although the headlights need to be re-aligned.

They will settle a bit but not much. You'll still have some rake but since I haul dirt bikes, it works out for me.

Here's how it looks after a year or so:

Hey Bobby. I'm new to the forum. Name's Randall.

I'm dealing with the same decisions as mentioned in this thread. I've decided to purchase and install BFG A/T KO 305/55/20's (33.4" x 12.4") on my stock 20" 2010 F150 4x4 wheels.

I'm wanting to level the front of the truck only as much as necessary to be able to fit those tires. I've narrowed my choices down to the Auto Spring 1.5" powder-coated steel spacers or the Daystar 1" poly spacers. Do you think I could fit the new tires with the daystar 1", taking into consideration that they seem to settle after a year or two?

I seems the 1.5" Auto Spring may be the better quality product because it is steel and has the 'offset' design that supposedly helps avoid contact with the upper control arm. But I'm also worried that I could end up with the truck appearing to sit 'nose high' and that's something I can't live with. Would prefer a slight rake still. The 1" Daystar is a poly compound that seems to be not as well accepted as the steel products and I'm not sure if the daystar has the offset design like Auto Spring is known for.

So.... Thats what I'm dealing with. Do you guys think I should go with the 1" Daystar poly or the 1.5" Auto Spring steel? Important factors being not ending up with a 'nose high' look, fitting the 305/55/20's (33.4" x 12.4"), and maintaining the factory quality ride as much as possible.

Any help/input would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Paw Paw ran that size tire on his 2011 4x4 with no level and no rubbing. He later added a leveling kit because he wanted to get rid of some rake.
Have you measured to see how much rake your truck has (stock)?

Hey NASSTY... I just measured my truck rake. It seems I only have approx 1.25" of difference. There's a couple of factors though...

1) I have a fold-up ladder in the bed and also a toolbox that's pretty full. Those are items that I generally have in the bed most of the time.

2) I have my spare on the front drivers side and it's a 275/65/18. I measured the passenger's side because it is still stock tires/wheels front & rear. I'm not sure if that spare could be throwing off the front measurement by squatting or extending the stock passenger's side??

The way it seems right now is that even if I go with the 1" Daystar, and it actually gives 2" of lift, I will be nose high. Hmmmmm...

BTW, I measured from ground to top-center of wheel-well and from top of tire to top-center of wheel-well and got pretty much the same results.

I can post a picture of my truck the way it's sitting right now. The lighting isn't that great in the photo but you should get an idea of how it looks right now...

How do I post a photo directly into a message and not just a link??
