Default '09 Transmission Leak: Drivetrain Warranty?

my 2009 with the 5.4L and 6 speed tranny left me a nice surprise on my driveway today - 12" diameter oil stain that I found coming from the tranny. The truck is 3.5 years old with 46K on it - my drivetrain warranty goes 5 years / 60K miles. Is this something that that warranty covers? Just curious.

I would say so especially with the TSB pertaining to the fluid leak around the wire plugin on the tranny, depending on the location of your leak and the build date u should be covered

I had the same problem with my '09, only happened when sitting unused for about 2 or 3 days. Seems the fluid takes awhile to fill the area where the leak occurs, mine was fixed w/o charge or question. I had 28,500 miles on mine. Work order states: "Found leak from mechatronic connector".
I didn't see any reference to a TSB.
If you happen to have the same problem I bet you'll be covered. Good luck!

Alright thanks. I'm off this week so I will probably take it in Wednesday. It's rather frustrating that problems like this keep popping up with a truck this ago / mileage. Under the normal warranty the piņon seal on the rear end was leaking fluid, the rear window leaked water into the cab, glove box wouldn't open and had to be replaced, the hvac fan got stuck on high and even though it was fixed it has started acting up again. Oh, and they replaced the driver seat leather because it was coming apart. And the list goes on. Even more annoying is the new stain on my driveway.
