i've also got the tuff country (as pictured in previous post) 2inch level kit on my 09 F150 with no problems at all, pretty straight forward. works as advertised.

i too had les schwab install my kit... i'm cheap, lazy, too easy to just have the les schwab monkeys do the work. problem is, i'm **** too and this is where the fun begins:

i decided to slide under the truck, inspected their work and noticed they had torn both side outer tie rod end grease filled rubber boots. they also took apart the left front hub assembly (specifically the vacuum actuated 4x4 hub) which ruined the actuator so 4x4 would not disengage. took it to the dealer and was upfront and honest, told them les schwab installed leveling kit. they confirmed les removed the actuators, they replaced the left front 4x4 actuator under "warranty", i love my ford dealer.

then i took the truck to les to "nicely" explain what they have done and also show them the torn tie rod ends. so they apologized, bought me new outer tie rods from ford, and sent me on my way. took the truck home and i personally replaced the outer tie rods.

but i digress... yes the tuff country 2inch level kit without "offset" works on 09 f150's'

I had no such issue with my installation.

My local LS outlet does a lot of these as pickups out number cars three to one in my area; moreover, the tech they assigned to my job has accomplished this multiple times before.

I watched the entire process and it was effortless on his part, and it went much faster than I anticipated. He did not swear once, nor encounter a problem along the way.

Nothing was torn and everything including hoses, wires and wire clips were returned to their original position.

It is not being lazy or inept to farm this particular job out to people who are doing suspension work on a frequent basis; I am pretty handy working on vehicles, however this was a job which required some tools I did not have at hand, as well as a lift. Without those tools/equipment, this would have been a multi hour job for me and I guarantee I would have been swearing. Parts, labor, and alignment all for $268= a bargain in my view.

My experience has always been, that this is a no nonsense company, and they stand behind their work and warranty.
