swapped 2013 cluster in and it doesn't turn on. Looks like their is an extra plug port. Any ideas? Top is 2014 bottom 2009

 

Not compatible, completely different electronic interface. 09-10 are interchangeable and 11-14 are interchangeable.

On a positive note, you should be able to sell it pretty easily.

 

not sure if 13-14 are backwards compatible, 11-12 doesnt have an ICAN network like 13-14 does, you can put an 11-12 in a 13-14 but if you have my ford touch 8''or 4.2 screen that and the audio wont work. I swapped my interior from 12-14 tried to reuse my 12 cluster and learned i needed 13-14 to make 8'' screen and audio to work. cant speak for 09-10 but from what ive seen there different all together
