I could not find the connector that Ford uses for the module anywhere,
so I cut the connector off from the Ford LED leaving a couple inches of wire lead and soldered to the chosen LED.
It's flush mount and looks clean and visible if looking in from the side.
I step drilled the opening up to 7/16" diameter through the dash plastic.

2016 screw xlt with factory remote start. zip code is 07922 unless shipping can be expedited to 18435. Would like to know what parts and price would be to add smartphone start functionality.
Truck is in the US but may have been originally sold in Canada. I am second owner.

I traded my 2014 Edge Sport on a 2018 F-150 XLT with sync connect (FordPass). I removed the remote acces RMU and the other module and was thinking about installing it in the truck. I know I can reuse the RMU but I think I need to replace the other module and Y harness that connects to the OBDII harness (DL3Z-19A361-A)
What parts will I need? Pics below are what I currently have.

i don't think that will work.. you need JS7Z-19A361-A .. you can purchase it from ebay... amazon.. or any dealer and install and configure it yourself..
