Winch on front of ecoboost
I know I couldn't put a winch mount bumper on because of the inter cooler so I installed a hitch and winch mount for temp use and mounting. Let me know what you guys think as far as how much it is covering the intercooler opening. Think it will cause issues? It won't be on all the time but next week hunting id like to leave it one while on the trails.

If I recall, there is at least 1 thread on here where a guy did install a winch on an EB, but your solution works too! I doubt it will cause any issue the way you have it...

You could have mounted it traditionally and it would have worked just fine so yeah the way you have it now won't be a problem at all.

I doubt that you'll have a problem, particularly now that the weather is cooler.
If later you want a permanent solution, I installed the Warn, EcoBoost compatible winch mount, and am happy with it. I estimate (just from looking at it) that it blocks about a third of the airflow to the intercooler radiator.

I didnt know there was an Ecoboost Warn mount... Crap! That's why I put the front hitch on. This will be temporary and stored in the bed of the truck for when I need it. I have had it on for over a week now and it's all good and didnt hurt my ground clearance too much on the trails hunting last week. So I guess it'll work.
Wish I knew about that Warn however, I definitely would have gone that route.
