why would u add a leaf for a lift

wow well im getting someone to put mine on so i should have any problems and i figured the 5 inch was a little to big might go with the 3 inch body lift plus 2 inch level kit

^Yes that would be the smart choice. Do not get a 5 inch body lift.

I think the 5 inch body lift he is talking about is the combo kit that comes with the leveling kit and then the body lift on top of that. Giving you the 2"+3"= 5" lift. I could be wrong but I have seen that option several times.

That as to be what he is talking about. The only 5" kit offered by performance accessories is combo kit that has the 3" body lift and a 2" leveling kit for a total of 5" of lift!

ok that makes more sence! I've seen those combo kits too, only body lift I know of that's bigger than 3" is the 5" bubba lift that some kid at my school is runnin on his 97 tacoma

When everything is said and done, if you have your body lift put on by a shop, youre looking at $900-$1000 out, just wait and go with a 6in suspension..

theres a bubba lift at my school too. its like a 4 inch BL on an 85 4runner. im scared to walk by it im scared its gonna fall over on me. ill try to get a pic next week hahaha

I got a job out in calvert by Thyssen Krupp the steel mill and I see at least 3 or 4 bubba lifts everytime I got out there, most all of em are on those older model tacomas
