Lightbulb WARN wireless lights

Has anyone tried the WARN wireless light setup?

I've also thought about going with a generic remote controlled relay setup for lights like one of these
Amazon Amazon
this one is rated at 5 amps but I like it because it's waterproof. They have them rated up to 20 amps. It would save a lot of wiring but not sure I'd like not having some type of indicator (lit switch or LED) in the cab telling me the lights are on. Has anyone used or looked into this type of setup?

You really shouldn't be wiring a direct load to a switch, even a wireless one. The switch should be used to trigger a relay which should handle the load. Relays are made to be stressed by electrical loads, switches are too but they're a common point of failure.

You can also set it up so you have a grounded notification light in the cab with a relay.

I understand that, I assumed in both links that the relay was controlled wirelessly. But to your point in neither case are they called relays. One is called a wireless control and the other is called an output. Very interesting observation, I'll have to do dome more research.

Thanks
