Question Raptor leaf springs with lowering shackles

I am hoping to contort a way to use raptor leaf springs to soften up my rear end without raising the truck too much. The purpose is to soften up the rear springs and damping so an empty truck will ride better over washboard gravel.

Has anyone experimented with raptor springs and socks with lowering shackles and a leveling coilover up front? Or any other similar build

Soften up a Raptor?? It's not meant to be a soft roader. Trade it for a Hyundai or something.

soften a truck designed to not work with less than 500lb in the bed to a raptor, which is not designed to carry any real weight.

Not sure on the year of your truck but it might be worth reaching out to Deaver to see if they can do something for you.

The other option is to use the Raptor leaf with no rear block. I don't think the raptor is lifted all that much over the factory F150, so removing the block may be the best bet. I know deaver sells raptor springs that are meant to run without the stock block so it should work.

I've been looking for a set of Raptor take offs as well. The 2017-20 F150's use the same exact length and curve leaf springs as the 2017-20 Raptors. You will just use the block between the bottom of the leaf pack and the axle from your F150 to keep the exact same ride height. You won't need lowering shackles at all and they should be a direct swap if all my measurements are correct. The Raptors use a taller block between the leaf pack and the axle with longer u-bolts.

I haven't found a set of used ones to put on my 2018 yet so I can't prove it out though.

Cheers, Pete
