Shocks for 1995 f150 xlt?
Hello new to the forum, and have a question specifically regarding my truck. I have a 1995 f150 xlt with the 302. I just recently put a two inches leveling (spacers) kit on my front end and my rear has an added leaf, as well as a block, bringing it to 2.5" lift for the rear. Currently has 33x10.5R15's. This truck has 327,000 miles, has rebuilt motor, and runs beautifully. The only thing I don't like about it is the rough ride.
Which brings me to my question, what aftermarket shocks would work for my truck as it's settup now. I'm wanting a smoother ride on the trail but off trail as well I understand the spacer leveling kits make the ride more stiff but I think with all the miles on these shocks they're long overdue for replacement, and would help tremendously!
I like your guys opinion on what some good brands are, as well as a little clarification as to whether I need longer length shocks because of my lift, or if stock dimensions would still perform fine.
