Default Pros and Cons of a UTV Windshield

I’m thinking about getting a flip windshield for my UTV and wanted to hear the pros and cons of having one in general. I’m tired of getting hit by bugs and don’t love constant wind when riding fast. At slower speeds, the idea of flipping it up or down for airflow sounds great.
Does anyone have experience with a UTV windshield clamp Kit? I’m curious if it makes installation easier and holds up well over time.
Thanks

If you drive at night, especially around other vehicles or light sources it's almost impossible to see through them. All of them are plexiglass and get scratched up easily. The glare of other lights really distorts vision. I took mine off, but that's because I used mine a lot at night.

I have the Super ATV flip-up on my RZR. I like it for the most part. I find myself riding with it either closed or semi-open but rarely fully open these days.

I don't have issues with it during night riding, nor does it scratch easily for me.

It does suck, though, if you are riding behind someone on a dusty day. And even worse if it is mud being flung.

I have had it now since 2017, and it is still in great condition. I've ridden quite a few thousand miles now around Arizona with it. Mud/snow/dust/etc.

Flip up is the way to go. Mine is a stationary and most of the year it is off because it is so hot with it in place and there is no airflow. Winter it's back on to keep that same air off me.
