nope fx4 has signicantly better performance than any after market shocks, this myth was debunked on mythbusters. something to do with the sticker.

There are different classes of shocks, IE some are better than others.

It all depends on what you are willing to spend and how you intend to use them. If all you are going for is a little lift for a street queen, any adjustable coilover will do. If you are planning on beating on it in the dirt, you'll need one of the more expensive offerings.

What are your goals?

Do you have a budget in mind on how much you want to spend?

Are you only looking at replacing the shocks are possibly thinking about doing more?

You can do both at the same time with a coilover. I'm doing the same in the near future with the Boss Coilovers
