Default Need Help with offset and tire sizes please!!!

Ive been reading as many threads as possible but im still unsure how the offset and backspacing really works and before i buy rims and tires i was hoping for some help!!!!
I have a 2018 F150 xlt sport with a level from factory, sits almost level with back i think not off by much. I was looking at the Method wheels 312 in bronze, site says they are 18/9, bolt pattern is 6/135 or another one is 6/5.5 and the offset/spacing is 18/5.75" . I also want to try out the Nitto Ridge GrapplersLT285/70R18 E 127/124Q 217370 16.4 33.98 11.50 7.5-(8.5)-9.5 3860/3525 @80 59.94. so its almost a 34in which i like, only weighs say 60lbs. read great reviews on them. im looking for the tire to stick out a little past the side but i dont want it to sit inside at all. flush is ok but i would rather be safe and have it stick out further than not enough cause i can always get the fender flares after.
Hoping to get after market upper control arms to get that extra droop travel but i dont know anything about that like if it will work with stock suspension or do i need more parts. maybe ill do another thread on that later lol any help on this rim/tire combo is greatly appreciated!!! now time to find that thread with all the pics of the different truck and tire combos!!!

Thank you!!!!!

As far as offsets goes, I would suggest getting a +1 to -12 offset wheel , to sit just where you want it. Typically, a wheel that size has a 5.5-6" backspacing. Anything higher than that might not clear your UCA's

They have another rim, the 310 / Con 6, 18/9 with a -12/4.5" would that work? Sorry i still dont really understand how all the backspacing numbers work. Would probably need someone to show me face to face a million times lol Also has anyone got any pics of Bronze rims on a black truck? im thinking it will look good

Thank you for the feed back!!! I really appreciate it!!!

I was also thinking about getting one of those after market uni uca's, from what i see they dont affect anything other than the droop travel by roughly 1-1.5in. So that shouldnt affect where the wheel sits in the wheel well at all eh? but can give better clearance for different offset?

Thank you for all the help!!!!!!!

I am running a +0 offset (I think its a 5" backspace) 20x9 wheel on my 2015 XLT 4x4. This setup leaves the perfect amount of tire outside of the fender (IMO) at a little over an inch for the front and back. Gives it a mean stance and looks aggressive. It also leave enough lip on the wheel to look good. With that in mind make sure you try to find a truck running a similar size of tire/wheel/offset to avoid rubbing and cutting. Try the gallery at customoffsets.com

Yea i dont see a whole lot with the 18in wheels. Seems 20s are a lot more popular. Would a higher number on the backspace mean it sticks out further from the fender? so like a 5.75in would be a lot sticking out and the other option is the 4.5in would hopefully be still sticking out? i just really dont want it to sit inside the wheel well and the shop here im limited to go with i dont really trust them to make the call on whats the good offset/backspacing to go with lol

Backspacing is the measurement from the back of the wheel to where the lug nut/hub attaches to your truck !!
